For this project, I created a logo for a fictitious organization of my choice. The logo intends to integrate a variety of relevant shapes, colors, textures, text, and special effects. The product you see displayed is the result. My son's interest in aviation inspired me to curate this idea. This project again challenged my visual and artistic creativity. However, I found that once I had a cognitive visualization, putting the physical design effort was smooth. The primary learning point is that only our imagination limits our creativity with many of these programs. If we can see it, these visualization programs allow a great deal of freedom to create educational or business designs. In reflection, this logo demonstrates the capabilities of educators or students to show creativity and think abstractly. The main limitation is the digital literacy of the person using the program. In truth, the program can be challenging to work within unless the person has experience with similar software.
The following represents the steps used to create this design and the symbolism for the elements. For the design, I visually depicted a sun with clouds to symbolize the sky in which flying airplanes occur. The curved arrow represents the undetermined destinations this flying charter company could travel to. Adding the text in various ways and fonts provides fluidity and integration to the design.
